«Being in Neutral, listening with an open mind and
still heart is the biggest gift we can impart.»

Biodynamics

Therapeutic presence

The therapeutic attitude of a BCST - Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist - is one of presence, awareness and care as much toward the client as to him or her self as a practitioner.

The inner stand and orientation is of honest, friendly attention and loving company.
Such attitude shows in a still, grounded presence, which is receptive and listening.
BCST rests within him/herself and know how to self-regulate.
Practitioners practice a neutral state, which allows a refined perception.
They accept the client in their multi-layered and multifaceted being.
They welcome people of different cultural, religious and social background.

Compassion and empathy develops through unbiased listening to the inherent cycles of primary respiration.

Respect for the individual life history is shown through a benevolent, non judgmental attitude.

BCST develops an appreciation for the uniqueness of the client's process.
The practitioners accompany and support the inner processes and involve the client actively.
They are interested in cooperation with the client and meet the client on an equal basis.
They recognise that the client is the expert of him/herself and take responsibility on the level of the professional competences.

Therapeutic principles

Neutral of the practitioner is a working model that allows to get to know the biodynamic world.
An inner, neutral attitude is the foundation of all therapeutic intervention.

Neutral allows to sit still and listen with a wide perceptual field to the fine, inner motions. The afferent listening, brings awareness of the client's inner processes. These are supported in the direction of more vitality, unity and health.

Neutral is the capacity of practitioner and client to settle together and support the autonomic inner motions and noises to come to rest.

This beginning phase of rest prepares the system to self recognition. It supports unity, inner balance and the necessary vitality for changes and corrections to take place.

Practitioners recognise and differentiate the expressions of health. They know how to engage and support the body's abilities to regenerate.

They are aware of the innate ability for self-regulation as a normal, natural phenomenon. They can cooperate with the system's inner intelligence in order to normalise autonomic function.

To learn and practice craniosacral biodynamics students need to make a shift in paradigm and to learn to think and act biodynamically.

«If you want the truth
I tell you the truth:
Listen to the secret sound,
the real sound,
which is inside you.»
Kabir

«There is another kind of intelligence, one
already completed and preserved inside you.
A spring overflowing its springbox.
A freshness in the center of the chest.
This other intelligence does not turn yellow or stagnate.
It’s fluid and it doesn’t move from outside to inside through the conduits of plumbing-learning.
This second knowing is a fountainhead
from within you, moving out.»
